If you now have one of our masks, we have a few instructions.  Please wash the mask before you use it.  Most likely it will also need to be ironed.  There is a pocket in the back of the mask.  That is the space for a piece of filter fabric if you wish to add it. Some masks will come with filters but our supply is limited. A vacuum cleaner bag can create a HEPA filter.   Please be sure to remove the filter when you wash the mask. 

The mask also has a pipe cleaner along the top so that you can fit that around the top of your nose for a better fit.  Please be sure that the pocket is in the back towards your face. It does make a difference and this will insure you the most protection.

Tie one tie above your ears and the other at the base of your head.  Pull the pleats apart for full coverage. 

Wash the mask after use in hot water and in a hot dryer.  Other methods, including microwaving the mask, will not get it to a hot enough temperature and could damage the pipe cleaner.
